Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and its associated data in the Board Plus One mobile app and customer portal. The data controller is Board Plus One Yapay Zekâ Teknolojileri A.Ş., which operates the app and boardplusone.com. 1. Delete from inside the app (immediate)

If you use the Board Plus One app you can delete your account yourself, with no intermediary:

Open the Board Plus One app and sign in.
Open the left drawer and tap the gear (Settings) icon at the bottom.
Tap Account.
Tap Delete account.
Read the warning and type your own e-mail address in the confirmation field.
Tap Delete my account.

There is no waiting period: your account is permanently deleted immediately after you confirm, and you are signed out.

If you are the last admin of an organization, the app will not let you delete your account. Transfer admin rights to another member or leave the organization first, then delete your account.

2. Request deletion by e-mail

If you have not installed the app, or cannot access your account, you can send a written request:

Write to info@boardplus.one from the e-mail address registered to your account.
Use “Account deletion request” as the subject line.
State the e-mail address of your account in the message; we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

Under Article 13 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) we complete requests as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest. We confirm to the same address once the deletion is done.

3. Data that is deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your account and profile details (first name, last name, e-mail address),
Your chat history and the questions you asked,
Your organization memberships,
Your notification, language, theme and haptics preferences,
Your session and authentication records.

4. Data that is retained, and for how long

The following records are kept after your account is deleted:

Query and usage records belonging to your organization remain in the organization’s records in a form that cannot be attributed to you.
Billing and accounting records are kept for the mandatory retention periods required by Turkish tax and commercial legislation. During that period they are used only to meet legal obligations.
Security logs (access time, IP address) are kept for a short period to prevent abuse.

Beyond these, the temporary technical records created while processing your questions are not retained.

5. After deletion

Deletion cannot be undone; we cannot restore your account. You may sign up again with the same e-mail address, but your previous chats and organization memberships will not return. To join an organization again, contact your organization administrator.
